Missing You

Everyone has been working so hard!! I'm so proud of each and every kiddo in Room 9!  This is our last week for "paper and pencil" worksheets and we'll start our online learning next week on Tuesday, April 7th.  It'll take a few days to get the hang of everything (for me too!!) so please be patient and flexible.  I miss you!!

Sunshine Day

Hey Families!  There is an important email from  CSD so don't forget to check your inbox!  Try to get outside and play today because the sunshine is gorgeous (and might disappear this evening as rain showers move in.

I am so proud!!  Everyone has been working really hard and it makes me smile to see all of the pictures you have sent me!! Please keep sending pictures!

My daughter told me that the Cincinnati Zoo has a live stream every day at 3:00.  I haven't seen it but let me know what you think if you check it out!  On the right hand side of the Cincinnati Zoo website page, there is a link that says "Click here for home safari resources".  Here's the link!

Another Day....

Working Hard

I received quite a few pictures yesterday of our amazing classmates working!!!  I'm going to try to post 2 a day so if your picture isn't posted, don't worry, I'll post it in a day or two.

Today is also a great day to build a snowman!!!  That's a great activity for P.E. today!!

Another great website to visit is called Storyline Online.  Famous actors and actresses read picture books out loud.  These books are much shorter than most of the ones that Audible offers.  Here's the link.

Audible App

There  is a wonderful app called Audible that allows you to listen to a book of your choosing.  I listen to books all them time while I'm cleaning, folding laundry, or cooking.  It is free for students while school is closed. Just click on the link below and give it a try!! I highly recommend it!!

Learning Materials for School Closure

I have put together a learning packet for each child in Room 9 for this week.  If your child isn't here on Tuesday, March 17th to receive his/her packet, the school will be open on Wednesday, March 18th from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for parents to come and pick up your child's work .  

I will be working on Thursday and Friday with my second grade team to put together another learning packet for the next two weeks.  Mr. Antonicci will send more information home about that soon. Stay healthy!!
